She was predeceased by: her parents, Ethel Byrd and Alfred Tyson. She is survived by: her child Ryan Tyson; her granddaughters, Natalie and Nicole; her siblings, Deborah Grant, Mark E. Tyson, Allen B. Tyson, Donald Tyson and Dr. Alvin Tyson of Pastor Shiloh, P. B; her goddaughters, Artavia Parrish-Wade and Tammy Bolton; and her nephews, Mark Tyson Jr. and Marlon Tyson. She is also survived by 4 great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Greater Hurst Chapel A. M. E. Church (2730 N Links Ave, Sarasota, FL 34234).
