He was predeceased by: his parents, James M. Adams, Sr. and Annie Eddins Adams; and his brother James Melvin Adams, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Cindy Adams; his son Jason Adams; his granddaughter Veronica "Roni" Adams; and his sibling's children, Crystal Denman Adams and Eric Adams.
