Kathleen Passmore wrote a sympathy message

“May loving memories surround Jacob's family and friends. Jacob and Henry were both the best roofers in Santa Rosa County in my opinion. My mother, Ruby Bunyan of Holley, hired them numerous times to do roofing over the years. The last roofing job was in 2004, the month before Hurricane Ivan hit. The Hill brothers reroofed her house and garage, after it was damaged by a water spout off of East Bay. During Ivan, after the brick on the garage collapsed, the roof was washed away in the storm surge near the driveway. The garage was a total loss from the storm, but the roof was in completely intacked. Now ...that is good quality craftmenship. I remember my Mom cooking up a big hot lunch for Jacob, Henry, and all their employees everyday they worked on her roof. There is a lot of respect for those three... Jacob, Henry and Mom.”
