It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Ausbey Ausby Dunn of Milton, Florida, born in Murray, Kentucky, who passed away on June 12, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Iva Dunn (Boyd) and Guy Dunn; his stepfather Harold Otterson; his parents-in-law, Robert and Hazel Downs (Williamson); his sister Evelyn; and his siblings-in-law, Stan Kucharski and Judy Dunn.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Dunn (Downs); his children, Charlene Dunn Pierson (Larry) and Michael Dunn (Anita); his grandchildren, Jonathon (Lauren), Justine, Jessa (Joel), Janae (Harrison), Joshua (Kaitlind), Judson, Josiah, Luke, Caleb and Michaela (Joshua); his brother Max Dunn; and his brothers-in-law, Richard Downs (Debbie) and Robert Downs. He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Faith Baptist Church (3600 Creighton Rd, Pensacola, FL 32504). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Weaver Cemetery.
