He was predeceased by : his son Bruce E. Wheeler. He is survived by : his wife Deloris; his children, James Jr. (Robin), Cecilia Burke (Darrel) and Christine Negron (Edgar); and his brother Bobby Wheeler. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
