He is survived by: his wife Betty Evans Shapbell; his sister Carol Long (Jake); his children, Robin Johnson and Scott Shapbell (Carrie); his grandchildren, Kara Johnson, Andrew Johnson, Meredith Greene, Kate Greene, Nathan Douglas (Summer) and Grant Douglas; Randall Greene, Glenda Anthony and Nancy Douglas. He is also survived by 3 great grand-children, 2 nieces and one nephew.
