It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jim Benton (Miramar Beach, Florida), born in Perry, Florida, who passed away on March 17, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Olan Benton and Gladys Mae Benton; and his sister Judy Ives. He is survived by: his wife Kay Benton; his daughters, Kim Battiste (Wes) of Destin and Jill Caraballo of Canton Georgia; and his grandchildren, Danielle Foels (Travis) of Tampa, Kaylee Battiste of Destin, Sydney Brooks (Landon) of Marietta, Zach Brooks of Canton Georgia and Sofia Caraballo of Canton, Georgia.
