He was predeceased by: his son Joseph Abruzzo, III; and his parents, Rita Abruzzo and Joseph Abruzzo. He is survived by: his spouse Patricia Abruzzo; his children, Lori Karian (Stephan) and Mike Abruzzo; and his grandchildren, Ethan Joseph Karian and Ava Rose Karian.
The family requests in lieu of flowers and that memorial gifts be designated to Cancer Research at Mayo Clinic.
