Mikelyn Clausen Obituary
Mrs. Janet Mikelyn Maddox Clausen, age 79, passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2017. She was born on March 31, 1938 in Andalusia, Alabama to Mike Maddox and Mae Reeves Maddox. Mrs. Clausen was a resident of Miramar Beach, Florida. She was Christian by faith and was a member of Good News United Methodist Church, where she served as a group leader in the Children"s ministry.
She was a member of the Kiwanis Club, the Walton County Chamber of Commerce, and Business Network International. Mrs. Clausen was preceded in death by her father and mother, and her brother Bill Eaton. Mrs. Clausen is survived by her loving husband Ray Clausen of 32 years; five sons, Joe Perry, Lee Perry and wife Margie, Don Clausen and wife Kim, Mike Clausen and wife Pauline, and Ray Clausen, Jr. and wife Deana; her daughter Jan Perry Brock and husband Charlie; her sister Harriet Maddox Smith; eight grandchildren, Riley Saunders, Kaylee Saunders, Elizabeth Clausen, Alexa Clausen, Brandon Clausen, Bailee Clausen, Chandler Clausen, and Kristen Foley; and her great-grandson Connor Foley.
Receiving of friends will be from 10:00~11:00 AM, Friday, December 29, 2017 at Good News United Methodist Church; 4747 US-98, Santa Rosa Beach, FL 32459. Celebration of Life Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, December 29, 2017 at Good News United Methodist Church, with Pastor Brad Goode officiating. Pallbearers will be Ray Clausen, Jr., Mike Clausen, Don Clausen, Lee Perry, Riley Saunders, and Brandon Clausen.
