He was predeceased by: his parents, Angus King and Ruby Padgett Anderson; his wife Chassie B. Anderson; his daughter Elena Mechelle Anderson; his sisters, Dorothy Kinkey and Mary Frances Clemmons; and his brother-in-law Art Kinkey.
He is survived by: his children, Carson Anderson (Brenda) and Chrystal Anderson; his grandchildren, Brittney, Ethan, Trenatea, Bethany, Emily and Achron; his siblings, Grady Anderson (Rae) and Betty Norris; and his close friend Sue Yearwood. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
