With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mildred Frances McKown (Monticello, Florida), born in Butler, Georgia, who passed away on May 4, 2021 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Rufus Wainwright and Emma Wainwright; her daughters, Renae Taylor, Gloria Dockery (William) and Robbie Burnett (Paul); her grandchildren, Dorenda Slaton-Groom (Terry), Shane Slaton (Krissy), Troy McWhorter, Ryan McWhorter, Micca Taylor, Ashley Dockery, Kendra Chester (Patrick), Katie Burnett and Ivey Dockery; and her husband Robert H. McKown.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Big Bend Hospice.
