He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Charles (Jennifer), David (Katie), Christine Eglow (Jeffrey), Eugene (Adriene) and Helen DeRosa (Michael); his stepdaughters, Karen Krieger and Michelle Krieger; his grandchildren, Evan, Alex, Taylor, Matthew, Alexandra, Walker, Andrew, Emily, Michael, Jack, Maryann, Abbey and Allison; his great grandchild Ellie; his brothers, George Ged (Marva) and Marius Ged (Janet); his brother-in-law Dr. Frank Bauer (Terri); his nephews, Marius Ged (Kimberly) and Glen Ged; and his parents, Charles N. Ged and Helen A. Ged. He was also cherished by his wife, children, grandchildren and many dear relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to St. Joseph's University Medical Center Foundation or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
