He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Castle and Josephine Foster Castle. He is survived by: his wife Sandra; his children, Lisa J. Castle Nicholas (Robert) of Naples and Darrin S. Castle (Debbie) of Stillman Valley, Illinois; his grandchildren, Alyssa Ann Castle, James Michael Castle of Stillman Valley and Blaine Robert Nicholas of Naples, Florida.; his brother Donald J. Castle (Donna) of Old Town, Florida; and his brother-in-law Norman A. King of Skowhegan, Maine. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
