He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Ann Marie Schrader; his stepdaughter Nicole Schrader; his stepgrandsons, Kaleb and Mason Schrader; his sister Lisa Ballard Merritt (Jay); and his sibling's children, Alexandra K. Merritt and Christopher J. Merritt.

Donations in memory of Mike may be made to Avow Hospice or to the Humane Society of Naples.
