He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert E. Delaney and Martha M. Delaney; and his sons, Devin and Hunter Delaney. He is survived by: his siblings, Kathleen Dillon (Donald) of Springhill, TN, Gail F. Karberg (Kenneth) of Bernalillo, NM, Shawn Delaney (Nicole) of Palm Bay, FL and Francis X. Delaney (Tara) of Jacksonville, FL; and his stepchildren, Brendan O'Connell, Hayden O'Connell and Keegan O'Connell. He is also survived by 10 nieces and nephews.
