Ruth Tanner Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Tanner of Naples, Florida, who passed away on November 29, 2021 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John L. Irving and Edith Wood Irving; her husband James Edward Tanner Jr.; her children, Ruth Tanner Burritt (William Burritt), Cynthia Tanner Lubin (Bruce Lubin) of Long Grove, IL and Dr. James Edward Tanner (Carolyn-Clegg Tanner) of Boxford, MA.; her grandchildren, Brea Lubin Malloy, Jenna Lubin Duboe, Marissa Lubin Buchan, James Donald Tanner and Jacqueline Tanner; her great grandchildren, Owen, Leah Malloy, Quinn Duboe, Parker and Cole Buchan; and her brother William Irving of Arizona.
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Alzheimer Association Connecticut Chapter, 200 Executive Blvd S #4B, Southington, CT 06489 in her honor.
