It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alvirn T Hughes III (New Port Richey, Florida), who passed away on December 12, 2020, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Alvirn Hughes Sr. and Margaret Hughes; his father Alvirn Hughes Jr.; his grandparents, Lewis and Annetta Shires; and his pets, Prince and Domino.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Johnson Hughes; his son Alvin "TJ" Hughes IV (Savannah Cook) of Gainesville; his mother Ramona Shires Hughes of New Port Richey; his sisters, Denise Dawn Hughes of Winter Haven and Annetta Hughes Trotter of Riverview; his mother-in-law Judy C. Philo of Temple Terrace; his aunt Sharon; his uncle Tony Watson of Arlington, VA.; his friends, Phil Hancock (Susan) and Gary Cooper (Waurayne); and his pets, Sophie and Chanel.
Due to Covid 19, the family has requested a private memorial service that will be held on Saturday December 19, 2020 at 2 PM at the Dobies Funeral Home, Seven Springs Chapel. 8825 Old County Road 54, New Port Richey, FL.
