James Jonathon Massenburg Obituary
James "Jay" Johnathan Massenburg (56) left this world to be at peace with the Lord on September 28, 2020, in his home in Land O' Lakes, FL. Jay, or as some of friends called him "JJ", was born in Orlando, FL, December 31, 1963. He spent his childhood traveling the world with his mother Jane and father Severn who was in the Air Force. He spent his younger years playing football and soccer. He has since enjoyed his days fishing at any water hole he could find, grilling with whatever pieces of meat he could get his hands on and making friends with anyone who he came into contact with. He was most known for his contagious smile and his charismatic personality. He leaves behind a trail of laughs and memories that will never be forgotten. Jay is survived by his son Mathew, daughter Mandi, mother Jane, and 6 grandchildren Tyson, Deja, Gage, Orion, Finn, and Nolan. The family has chosen to not have a public memorial and will remember Jay together in private. Your condolences and memories are welcomed below. The family would like to thank everyone who had an impact in Jay's life over the years and hope he left a significant impact in your life as well. "Now Lord, you are releasing Your bonded servant to depart in peace; according to Your world." (Luke 2:29).
