He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Rugg and Frances Rugg (Hutton). He is survived by: his children, Louis "Guy" Rugg II of Winamac, Rick Rugg (Cilla) of Portage and Eleanor Jahr (Bruce) of Chesterton; his stepchildren, Eric Hicke (Kim) of Portage and Stephanie LaBare (Randall) of New Port Richey, FL.; his close friend Chester McKinney (Deb) of Portage; and also, Pat, Tom Schaefer of Valparaiso, Diane Lawrence of Valparaiso, Linda Gibbs of Mishawaka, Richard Rugg (Linda) of Valparaiso, Kathy Robinson (Charlie) of Harrison, AR and Mary House (Gerald) of Valparaiso. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
