He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Zirkel and Anna Zirkel; and his sister Helen Marie Gee. He is survived by: his wife Miriam Obenschain; his sons, Krister Curtis (Carmen) and Keith Walka (Michelle); and his grandson Griffin Curtis.
