She was predeceased by: her parents, Thelma Suggs and Jack Suggs; her stepmother Mattie Suggs (Gerald Jump); and her siblings, Walter Marvin Suggs, James Suggs, Johnnie Suggs and Pearl Witt.
She is survived by: her children, Jackie Morton (Martha), Charlene Fugate (David) and Sandra Parrish (Jim); her sister Clara Russell; and her cousin Charles Suggs. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
