Though Naomi may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Naomi touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Pollack and Lillian Pollack (Fogel); and her husband Lawrence John Fortenberry. She is survived by: her children, Tamera Jane Cole (William Cole), Julie Ann Ziegenhorn (Brian Ziegenhorn) and John Scott Fortenberry (Victoria George Fortenberry); and her cousin Margie. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, August 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Heritage Gardens Funeral Home (2201 Partin Dr N, Niceville, FL 32578). A burial will be held on Monday, August 25th 2025 at the Heritage Gardens Cemetery (2201 Partin Dr N, Niceville, FL 32578).
