He was predeceased by: his parents, James Warner Clifton and Edna Mae Hunt; his stepmother Joann Clifton; his sisters, Bev Lloyd and Vickie Neeld; his father-in-law Arliss Miller; his stepson Shane Short; his nephews, Scott Kuhn, Tim Kuhn and Bryant Miller; and his siblings-in-law, Sam Miller, Dick Postell, William Hurtt, James Hurtt and Shirley Hurtt.
He is survived by: his wife Celeste Clifton; his children, Jeffrey Warner Clifton, Tracy Sipe and Amy Rogan; his stepson Sean Short; his mother-in-law Martha Miller; and his siblings, Stephen Clifton, Jerri Foreman, Debbie Wagy and Terri Jo Miller (Pam Soda). He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; many in-laws and nieces and nephews.
John had Parkinson's Disease and fought a long and challenging battle.
