He was predeceased by: his parents, Clara Sedgwick and William Sedgwick; his wife Nancy Ann Jackson; and his siblings, James Sedgwick and Imogene Black.
He is survived by: his children, Dr. William Sedgwick (Ellen), Kimberly Standish (Dick), Mark Sedgwick (Alice) and Ann Kloppenburg (Ray); his grandchildren, Eric Sedgwick (Maggie), Courtney Standish, Anne Standish, Lauren Harbison (Ryan), John Sedgwick (Meghan), Sarah Tom (Alan), Andrew Kloppenburg and Hannah Kloppenburg; and his caregivers, Gwen, Marge, Hattie, Alyssa, Leesa, Michelle, Regina, Barbara, Yolanda and Angie of Luke's Hospice. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.
