He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Josephine L Redmen and George H Rankin Sr.; his wife Phyllis J Rankin; his siblings, Beverly Marie McRoberts, Shirley Jo Arnold, Jacquelyn Sue Gehlbach, David Allen Rankin and Steven Jay Rankin; his children, Kiplyn Carpenter, Donald Kent Carpenter, Eric Faugust, Kelly Jones Rankin and Julie Kylesa Rankin; and his stepchildren, Terry-Lynn Bergeron, Nicole Renee Marvelle and Brenda-Lee Manteca. He was also cherished by 26 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
