He was predeceased by: his former wife Joyce Reddick Rhoden; his parents, Isham Lee Rhoden Sr. and Mary Eleanor Howell Rhoden; and his sister Barbara Joan Rhoden Morrison. He is survived by: his wife Cornelia Holmes Rhoden; his son Gregory Rhoden (Diane); his stepchildren, John Holmes (Holli) and Holly Love (Warren Schweitzer); his grandchildren, Grady, Max and Emily Holmes; his nephew Andrew Wilson Morrison, Jr.; and his nieces, Holly Morrison Breaux and Heather Morrison.
