Josephine Gismondi Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Josephine Gismondi (Ocala, Florida), who passed away on April 18, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Nicholas; her sons, Ralph and Nicholas Gismondi; her parents, Gerada DiSalvatore and Dionysius DiSalvatore; and her siblings, Grace, Theresa DiSalvatore, Angie Cassell, Sabatini and Michael DiSalvatore.

She is survived by: her daughter JoAnne Ryan (Tim) of Ocala, Florida; her sisters, Marie Deluca of Carmel and Jeri Nelson (George) of Charlotte; her sisters-in-law, Rose Gismondi of Lords Valley, PA and Toni Galizia (Al) of Elmhurst, NY; her daughters-in-law, Ann Gismondi of Franklin Square, NY and Mary Jane Gismondi of Westfield, N. J.; her grandchildren, Lisa Miller (Phillip) of West Hempstead, N. Y, Lori Gonzalez (Ed) of Atlantic Highlands, NJ, Christopher Gismondi (Haley) of Westfield, NJ, Timothy Ryan (Matti) of Pawleys Island, SC, Nicholas Gismondi (Melissa) of Staten Island, NY, Nicole Ryan of Boston, Michael Gismondi of Westfield, NJ, Veronica Ryan of Livingston, AL and Thomas Ryan of Ocala, FL; and her great grandchildren, Ally, Kera, Summer Miller, Elvis, Dylan Gonzalez, Juliette, Luke Gismondi and Brooklyn Rose Ryan. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and nephews.

This past year was incredibly hard for Jo, she lost both of her loving sons to Covid last April and her husband in December of 2020.
