She was predeceased by : her sisters, Bessie Mann and Betty Thompson. She is survived by : her husband Orval Van Surls; her son Sammie Allgood (Nicki); her stepbrother Roy Thomas; her siblings, Barbara Gregory of Avon Park and Buddy Thomas (Gail) of Okeechobee; and her great grandchildren, Kyle, Brandon, Dakota, Trisha, Ema, Zeb and Justin.
