She was predeceased by : her husband Carlos Guanta; and her son-in-law Galo Carrera. She is survived by : her children, Joanna Gaviria (Yelanie Davila), Juliana Gaviria and Julian Guanta; and her grandchildren, Lorenzo Carera, Dominic Carrera and Arabella Davila. She is also survived by other extended family and friends.
