She was predeceased by : her husband Danny Pottinger; her parents, John Edward Carter, Jr. and Joyce Stanbra Carter; and her sister Susan Carter Ricks. She is survived by : her daughters, Kathryn Pottinger Fallon, Virginia Pottinger Trabold (Fred) and Kristin Pottinger Dill (Drew); and her grandchildren, Emma Grace Trabold, Frederick William Trabold, IV, Henry Pottinger Trabold, Drew Sterling Dill, Jr., Talbott Kirkconnell Dill, Brooke Elizabeth Fallon and Michael Jack Fallon.
