She was predeceased by: her husbands, Julius Alvoid Cairnes and Robert Lawson; her parents, Theodore R. Davis and Elizabeth Riddle Davis; her siblings, Harry Rudolph Davis, Theodore R Davis, Jr. and Lois Davis; and her niece Sherry Lynn Davis of California.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Mitchell Cairnes (Patricia) of Montgomery, Sheila Diane Cairnes Gushcel (Ronald) of Green Valley and Joan Denise Lawson Silverman (Gary) of Kissimmee, FL.; and her grandchildren, Thomas Cairnes of Alabama, Denise Leeper of Wisconsin and Marisa Silas of Connecticut.
In leiu of flowers, donations in her name should be sent to The American Cancer Society and the local chapter of Dementia Society of America.
