She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Joseph Scanlon and Dorothy Dalton; her husband Peter Pennica; her children, Eileen Georgi, Joseph Pennica, Nardine Wetzel, Katie Pennica and Patricia Pennica; her grandchildren, Taylor Pennica, Hunter Georgi, Kiersten Wetzel, Kyle Georgi, Jaydin Archer, Brooke Pennica, Keira Wetzel, Kayla Pennica-Smith and Peter Wetzel; and her siblings, Kevin Scanlon, Joanne Castro and Theresa Scanlon. She was also cherished by many relatives and friends.
