He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Melvin Bonenberger and Golden Miranda Dennis Bonenberger; his siblings, Pauline Furman (Otto), Imogene Samples (D. J.), Lorene Spain (Eddie), Maxine Kelly (Glen), Jim Bonenberger and Brenda Capps (Ray); his siblings-in-law, Betty, Marguerite Sadler Holman Renner, Lester and Mary Sadler Doty (Roy); Pat McKee and Raymond.
He is survived by: his wife Opal Marie Sadler Bonenberger; his children, Patricia Baker (Virgil) of Palm Coast, Florida, Bobby Dean Bonenberger, Jr. (Belinda) of Jacksonville Beach, Florida and John Edward Bonenberger (Rebecca) of Johnson City, Tennessee.; his grandchildren, Jennifer Whaley (Brian), Kevin Baker, Vanessa Jones (Brandon) and Brett Bonenberger (Macy); his great grandchildren, Hunter Baker, Lily Whaley, Macy Whaley, Addyson Raley, Scotlynn Jones and Wrigley Bonenberger; his sisters, Betty McKee of Ft. Worth and Judy Futchko of Crystal Lake, Illinois; and his brother-in-law John. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
