We are sad to announce that on July 18, 2023, at the age of 72, Carolyn Fain Holifield (Palm Coast, Florida), born in Asheville, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Fain Edwards Brooks and Mary Carolyn Brooks; her children, DeWayne Heatherly, Tammi Heatherly and Cayla Lockhart; her grandchildren, Amber Brooks, Maeggan Brooks and Tara Brooks; and her friend Lori Combs.

Carolyn's body has been donated to Science Care in honor of her career in the medical field.
