He was predeceased by: his parents, Domingos and Maria of Conceição Fernandes. He is survived by: his wife Maria Julia; his sons, Daniel (Diana) and Nuno (Kelly); and his grandchildren, Olivia, Aiden, Avery and Augusto.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church (4600 Belle Terre Pkwy, Palm Coast, FL 32164).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Joaquim's memory to PKD Foundation (pkdcure.org), supporting research and care for those affected by polycystic kidney disease.
