Newberry and William Arthur Smith; her stepfather Henry Burns "Poppa" Hartsfield; her siblings, Betty Lee, Marjorie Tullis and Wilson Smith; her siblings-in-law, Dent Tullis, Carmel Lee, John Usher, Janice Surber, Minnie Surber, Francis Taylor, Gidget Huntsman, Della Shook, Mary Potts, Myrtice Smith and Lynda Surber; and her granddaughters, Dawna Weber and Elizabeth Jean Dawson.
She is survived by: her children, Lee Surber (Sheila), Betty Dawson (Melvin), William Surber (Rebecca) and James Surber (Cindy); her sister Peggy Usher; and her grandchildren, Cara Faircloth (Karey), Jaime Melvin (Randy), Chip Surber, Steven Dawson (Sivhouy), Billie Nemeth (Jason), Amanda Watson, Bobbie Woodward, Jaxon Surber, Rube Surber, Terry Silas (Melissa) and Debbie Marshall.
