He is survived by: his wife Joanie Novota; his daughters, Jenna Eakin (Doug), Deann Garcia (Morgan) and Piper Redmond (Jadd Butler); his grandsons, Kayne Butler, Rush Eakin and Reef Eakin; his aunt Rosemary Johnson; and his cousins, James "Mick" Novota (Linda), Scott Novota, Molli, Charlie, Nova and Ryan Novota.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital in memory of "Chuck" Novota.
