She was predeceased by : her parents, Charlie L. Chapman and Rose Etta Chapman; her husband Robert Turner; her son Mark Turner; her son-in-law Bobby Purvis; her grandson Chris Purvis; and her siblings, Beulah Snider, Tula Borden, Floyd Chapman, Melvin Chapman, Fred Chapman, Bill Chapman and Amon Chapman.

She is survived by : her children, Charlotte Purvis and Kenneth Turner; her grandchildren, Michele Jordan (Clayton) and Mattie Cheas (Stephen); her great grandchildren, Alex Bonner (Cody), Andrew Jordan, Turner Purvis and Gavin Purvis; her great great grandchildren, Penelope Cheas, Brooks Cheas and Aurora Bonner; and her sister-in-law Donna Chapman. She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Kent Forest Lawn Funeral Home (2403 Harrison Ave, Panama City, FL 32405). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Forest Lawn Memorial Cemetery.
