She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Odeal Carter and Robert G. Gainer; her husband William Collins Fussell; her children, Derek Collins Fussell (Karla Fussell) and Alison Fussell Latham; her grandchildren, Laura Katherine Fussell, Christopher Collins Fussell, Jacob Howard Latham and Natalie Hannah Latham; her sister Ann Zediker (Jim Zediker); her sister-in-law Betsy Shepherd (Mike Shepherd); her brother Gerald Gainer; and her parents-in-law, Ava Fussell and Bill Fussell.
Instead of flowers, donations may be made to her favorite charity, created by her son in her honor, Camo Dreams, Inc. This charity provides dream outdoor hunting and fishing trips for children with disabilities or illnesses, camodreamsinc.org.
