He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Brooks and Ada Brooks; his daughters, Pamela Jean and Tammy Odessa Brooks; his great grandchild Hayley Grace Hogan; and his brother Glynn Brooks.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Brooks; his son Michael 'Tony' Brooks (Anita); his grandchildren, Michael Brooks Jr. (Jessica) and Staci Brooks (Josh); his great grandchildren, Trace Brooks, K. J. Myers, Kinsley Huynh, Austin Johnson, Jade Wilkerson and Kylee Huynh; his sisters, Lavonne Bylasma (Bob) and Bonnie Segers; and his brother-in-law George Haddan (Geraldine).
