He was predeceased by: his parents, Mallie Edward "Eddie" Goostree Sr. (Sara Elizabeth McGregor) and Ed's; his sister JoAnn; and his son Michael Edward. He is survived by: his wife Marie; his children, Mary Catherine Dismukes and Lee Edward Goostree (Jenny); and his grandchildren, Riley, Katherine, Ira, Ruthanne and Margaret.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any donations in memory of Ed Goostree be made to Holy Nativity School's Stream fund or First Baptist Church of Panama City.
