She was predeceased by: her parents, James Allen and Lexie Allen; her daughter Penny Lynn Roberts; and her siblings, Larry Allen, Francis Mayberry, Lonell Hunt and Theodora Allen.
She is survived by: her husband Johnnie Newton; and her children, Allen Newton (Kim), Cynthia Skipper (Greg) and Deena Jones (Gene). She is also survived by six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the West Side Baptist Church (842 W River Rd, Wewahitchka, FL 32465). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
