He is survived by: his wife Mercedes Ness; his children, Janell Costilla, Jessica Brown and Richard Fred Ness III; his stepchildren, Gertrude Taveras, Juan Rodriguez, Kelly Lopez and Kevin Rodriguez; and his siblings, Carol Joy Nicolosi, James Ness, Mary Ness-Bross and Joyce Biring.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 6:30 PM to 10:30 PM at the Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care (1600 N University Dr, Pembroke Pines, FL 33024). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 7:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Vista Memorial Gardens Cemetery (14200 NW 57th Ave, Miami Lakes, FL 33014).
