With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lou Price Nicks of Penney Farms, Florida, born in Martinsville, Virginia, who passed away on November 11, 2021 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Dr. Harvey V. and Helen King Price; her husband Robert L. Nicks; and her children, John Freeman Nicks (Alice Darden Nicks) of Galena, OH, Mariana Nicks Rooker (James Randolph Rooker) of Yorktown, VA and Nancy Lou Nicks Stephenson (Thomas Patrick Stephenson) of Beaufort, NC. She was also cherished by seven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers consider a donation to Rett International to help find a cure for a disease that affects Lou's great-granddaughter, Julia Fitzpatrick.
