She was predeceased by : her parents, Crayton Jones and Alpha Lee Burris Jones; her former life partner Samuel Haskell; her daughter Nancy Murphy; and her siblings, Rolland Jones and Mary Jones.

She is survived by : her husband LeRoy Thompson; her children, Roger Murphy (Sue Kelley), Linda Hoff and Jennifer Moszkowski; and her siblings, Ralph Jones, Larry Jones and Frances Griffin. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren and five great great grandchild.
