He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleo, Sr. Hill and Edna Hill; his wife Chou (Eleanor); and his son Michael. He is survived by: his children, Bradley and Holly; and his grandsons, Stuart, Max (Melissa), Chelena (Michelle) and Shaun.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the local Humane Society or the Amazing Grace Bully Rescue.
