Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Dorothy (Jennie) McElroy Strickland of Pensacola, Florida, who passed away at the age of 100, on October 16, 2025. She was predeceased by: her parents, James McElroy and Mary Lou Johnson McElroy; her husband Albert Strickland; and her siblings, Evelyn Baker, Bessie Mae Chestnut Jones and James McElroy.
She is survived by: her daughters, Luticia Kovarik (Don) and Dorothy Williamson (Gill); and her grandchildren, Jeffrey Williamson (Teri), John Kovarik (Katie), Jack Willimson (Tonia) and Kristen Kovarik. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pensacola Memorial Gardens (7433 Pine Forest Rd, Pensacola, FL 32526).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Building/Expansion at First Baptist Church in Pensacola or the charity of your choice.
