She was predeceased by : her parents, Mattie Cartwright and Daniel Cartwright; her husband Wayne Carvin; her stepfather Riley Walker; and her son David Walker.

She is survived by : her daughter Terry Soble; her son-in-law Rich Soble; her son William C Walker Jr.; her daughter-in-law Sharon Walker; and her sisters, Ella Bird and Bonnie Jackson. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Faith Chapel Funeral Home and Crematory (South) (100 Beverly Pkwy, Pensacola, FL 32505). A graveside service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Barrancas National Cemetery (1 Cemetery Rd, Pensacola, FL 32508).
