He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Emmett S. and Tolton Simpson, Sr. of Vermont; his wife Shirley Simpson of Elberta, AL; his children, Cynthia Brown (Marc) and Emmett S. Simpson III; his grandchildren, Aaron Brown of Pensacola, FL, Daniel Brown, Andrew Brown, Adam Simpson (Amanda) and Heather Simpson; and his brother Dr. Richard Simpson (Sherry).
