He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Countryman and Martha Countryman (Mognet). He is survived by: his wife Veronica Joan Countryman (Bittner); his children, Kim Kolonia of Pace, Tina Linn of Pensacola, Lana Malaise of Pace and Steven Countryman of Pensacola; his brother Jack Countryman (Beverly) of Pensacola; his sibling's children, Pamela Dias (Luiz) of Pensacola, Jack Countryman, Jr. of Biloxi, MS, Mark Countryman (Teresa) of Evans, GA and Gary Countryman of Ann Arbor, MI.; his sisters-in-law, Linda Baily (Keith), Yvonne Rhoads (Dennis), Janine George (CJ) and Wendy Miles (Randy); and his extended family, Marge Countryman, Rene Malaise, Mike Rayburn and Angela Henrichs.
